Schedule meetings inside your survey. No redirects, no drop-off.

Every survey has a moment where you want more than an answer. You want a conversation. Maybe you're a researcher who needs a follow-up interview. A sales team qualifying leads. A consultant who wants to close the loop before the form even submits.

Until now, you'd collect the response, export it, find the person's email, and send a calendar link separately. BlockSurvey's new Schedule a Meeting question type removes all of that.

Respondents pick a time slot right inside the survey. The booking lands in your calendar. You move on.

Your next respondent can book a call before they hit the submit button.

What this feature does

The Schedule a Meeting question type embeds a live booking calendar into your BlockSurvey. Respondents see your availability, pick a slot, and confirm the meeting without leaving the survey page.

BlockSurvey connects to three scheduling platforms:

  • Calendly
  • Cal.com
  • Bookeo

How to set it up

The whole setup takes under five minutes. Here's the exact flow.

Step 1 – Add the question

  • Go to your survey's Design screen
  • Click Add Question
  • Select Schedule a Meeting from the question type list
  • Choose your platform from the dropdown Pick Calendly, Cal.com, or Bookeo.

Step 2 – Get your scheduling link

Each platform gives you a link slightly differently.

Calendly

  1. Log in and open the Event Types tab.
  2. Select the event, click Share, then Copy Link.

Cal.com

  1. Open the event or booking page you want to share.
  2. Click the Share icon (chain icon) to copy the link.

Bookeo

Bookeo works differently from Calendly and Cal.com. Instead of a link, you embed a widget script.

  1. Go to Settings → Theme and Layout → Website Integration.
  2. Choose Embed a widget in my website. Paste https://blocksurvey.io as the webpage address and click Save.
  3. Copy the widget script from Step 1 in the Widget section.
  4. Paste the script into the Widget Script field in BlockSurvey.
  5. To pull booking responses into your BlockSurvey results, go to Marketing → Conversion Tracking and Analytics in Bookeo. Copy the tracking script and paste it back into Bookeo. This script sends booking details (name, email, booking number, amounts) to BlockSurvey via PostMessage.

Step 3 – Paste and publish

Paste your link (or script) into the Scheduling Link field in BlockSurvey. Publish the survey and take one test booking yourself before you send it out. Confirm the calendar renders, the slot appears correctly, and the booking confirms. That's it.

Who uses this, and how

The Schedule a Meeting question fits anywhere you want a conversation to follow a form. A few real patterns:

Researchers  User interviews after a screener survey

You run a screener survey to find qualified participants. The last question books the interview slot. No follow-up email, no scheduling back-and-forth. The respondent qualifies and books in a single session.

Sales teams  Lead qualification with immediate booking

Your lead gen form ends with a calendar. Qualified leads book a discovery call before they close the tab. The sales rep gets notified and shows up prepared.

Consultants and coaches  Intake form plus first session

Clients fill in your intake questionnaire and book their first session at the same time. You go into the call knowing their situation. No separate scheduling tool, no reminder to find your link.

HR and recruiters  Candidate screening with interview scheduling

Candidates complete a screening form and book an interview slot at the end. Your recruiting coordinator stops sending calendar invites manually.

Event organizers  Post-registration check-ins

Attendees register for an event and book a pre-event briefing or 1:1 slot in the same form. You fill your calendar from your registration list, automatically.
