The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC) is a psychological self-report inventory designed to measure a child's level of anxiety. It consists of 40 items that measure two separate aspects of anxiety: state anxiety, a person's current level of anxiety, and trait anxiety, which is a person's overall level of anxiety.
