On a bad venue network or a rural site that happens constantly, and every one of those responses is paid for but never delivered. Answers saved on the device turn a dropped connection into a delay instead of a loss.

Asking a respondent to return later and finish is asking for a response you will not get. When the queued answer sends itself the moment the network returns, completion no longer depends on anyone remembering anything. The fieldwork you paid for arrives without a single follow-up chase.

How Offline Surveys Work in BlockSurvey
Turn On Offline Responses
In the survey editor, go to Settings and then General, and switch on Offline responses. If your survey includes questions that need a live connection, such as payment, wallet, social login, or AI follow-up, a notice tells you which ones. Everything else still works offline. Publish and share the link as usual. The setting travels with the survey.
They Keep Answering, Signal or Not
The survey is cached on the device, so it stays usable through a connection drop. Every answer is saved on the device and encrypted as they go, and a banner reassures them their answers are safe. If any question needs a connection, a second banner names exactly how many.
Responses Submitted Offline, Safely Queued
The finished response is encrypted and queued on the device. The respondent is told it is safe and that it will send itself, so nobody has to come back and resubmit later.
It Syncs Itself Back, Exactly Once
The moment the network returns, the queued response is delivered automatically with no action from the respondent. Two delivery engines cover every browser, and a client response ID acts as a duplicate guard on the server, so the response is stored exactly once with no duplicate records and no wasted distribution codes. It lands in your results still encrypted, readable only by you.
