Welcome and thanks for your interest in this survey of independent media outlets and organizations. Independent researchers Daniel Sabet (Johns Hopkins University) and Susan Abbott (Cross-Pollinate Consulting) are conducting a study on the end of US international assistance to independent media. This study will be published by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and made publicly available. The study aims to provide data and evidence on the impacts of ending US assistance and to inform donors and policymakers on how to better support independent media.

We would like to hear from media organizations and media support organizations based in the countries US international assistance used to support, regardless of whether or not they received such support. Respondents should be able to speak on behalf of their organization and only one survey response is requested per organization. The survey should take 10-20 minutes to fill out. Respondents have the option of providing answers anonymously. No names will be published in the report. Your participation is voluntary. Many thanks for your participation!
